| Greetings Everyone,
The
good news of the day is giving thanks for what you already have
brings more for which to be grateful.
In
celebration of the equinox, which is just around the corner, my
newly designed Spring web site will be up. It will sport a new springy
banner as well as the recognizable round icon.
Developing
web sites and designing their accompanying logos are projects I
love. It is fun watching creative energy manifest itself in design,
and hearing clients voice their affinity for the new logo. I just
love it.
By
the end of the month, I will have added a new web page of links
dedicated to the animal kingdom. I know, I agree, we could pay more
attention to animals’ behaviors especially those living in
oceans. I will use part of my web site to highlight and report animals’
challenges as well as their signals of Earth’s climate changes.
A “Surprise!” Moment
Several days ago, I had a moment’s thought about Marianne
Williamson’s heartfelt and famous quote, which reminds me
of Earthlings’ profound liberation from fear.
Wouldn’t you know, the “Surprise!” moment swirled
around me when I noticed the quote; my intention had manifested,
and there it was right in front of my nose. A writer in an online
international writer’s group of which I am a member had posted
the quote.
Staying Awake is not about things religious, but, in my
opinion, Marianne’s feminine observation and style are even
more poignant these days. This quote is attributed to Marianne,
although, as I understand, Nelson Mandella quoted it in a famous
speech.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest
fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not
our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I
to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the
world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other
people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make and manifest the glory of God that is
within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as
we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission
to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence
automatically liberates others.
You Came My Way
As
I write, I am reminded of the mission for this ezine ... being aware
of our intentions, sensibilities and curiosities while attending
our experiences at hand. I began looking back to clients and friends
who have come my way, and several things came to mind, one of which
I thought might be handy for you.
Do
you remember those deep thoughts we learned about ourselves and
our worlds during special weekend courses we attended over the last
few years? Some weekends were religious, some were about happiness
and peacefulness, some were team building, and the list goes one.
I will never forget those courses’ impacts as we walked away
with a renewed spirit for enjoying our worlds.
Well,
I listed below some of those thoughts and ideas that have been mulling
around, lately. Perhaps, within my humble and random musings, you
might remember a phrase or a memory of a place and time in which
an enlightened “Surprise!” moment seemed to make you
a lighter and brighter person. Here we go…
I
love different points of view in whimsical and deep conversations,
coaching sessions, and in business collaborations, remembering all
involved will be helped whether or not it seems so.
I
want laughter with friends and clients and associates without another’s
emotional expense in the balance.
I
believe all is in perfect order, and I genuinely desire the same
order for those around me.
Unsure
what perfect order is any more, I remember it has meant comfort
and direction when challenges appeared; so, with or without angst,
I will stay believing perfection and order exist.
I
remember no one knows for sure, but, at times, my illusions would
have me assume the other person must be right.
I
remember I am capable of choosing to take on someone else's illusions
as my own - or not.
I
remain as peaceful or joyful or curious as possible in moments of
seeming disruption.
I
believe I was born to make choices, and by choice, I may weave this
way and that until I am able to recognize my intentions have met
the choices that have already appeared.
I
believe, at the end of the day, I am capable of creating a moment
of joy for having done the best I could have done.
I
am the only one who can feel what I choose to feel, and I could
change my mind, too.
I notice how my world is expanding, because others’ judgments, opinions, and evaluations could have been mine, too, if I had worn their boots long enough.
I
believe compassionate leadership qualifies as service to those who
intuited certain capabilities in me.
Perhaps,
being an Earthling is much more than I ever imagined.
Nearly
every day, I turn a few minutes into grateful reflections for those
who have come my way.

Our constant curiosity is key
to watching what's being created. ~ DM |
