Hello Everyone,

Happy Holidays and Winter Solstice to all readers, everywhere. I hope each of you experience pleasant, safe travels, and happy times with your families and friends around tables of joy!

Welcome to all new subscribers! We have a new Staying Awake banner for the winter solstice, and that big red word reminds us of our capacity to awaken and listen intuitively to the beehive of activity our planet has become.

My personal website, Focused Excellence, has been given a face lift which I designed for the winter, and is ready for your critique. Let me know what you think — I’m for hire, too! I especially enjoy designing and producing professionals’ ezines. See DavidMoorhead.com

I know, I know, I’ve said it before and will probably say it until you’ll want to cover your ears: We live in the most fascinating times imaginable!

Honestly, if we must live with illusions we allowed into our lives by choice or by default, then, in today’s world, we can certainly depend on experiencing an enlivened spectrum of quiet nudges to “Surprise!” awarenesses and manifestations in our relationships and enterprises. After all, Universal energies used by high governmental officials are the very same Universal energies that swirl around and inside our physical bodies — manifesting us, and allowing us to manifest in our world.

If you've considered an interest in educating yourself in religious or political studies, oh, let’s not forget human behavior, you most likely are aware of stories, myths, and predictions being interpreted these days resemble those in ancient texts.

The following quote suggests the essence of this ezine’s message.

The world is filled with people who want to dream, to love, and to be happy. Yet happiness, love, and dreams are nowhere to be found on the agendas of governments and of world affairs. There must be something wrong with this planet's politics. To be lasting, an artist or writer must be a prophet of good, hope, and happiness. He must deal with the essentials of life and give inspirational, uplifting, reassuring answers.

Peace of Mind

Texts containing complex metaphors written in antiquity can be so cryptic that many of us Earthlings often cannot relate. One’s peace of mind can fly out the window when global rumblings are felt as darkly prophetic through a single, tunnel-scoped point of view.

But, I hold onto a radically different stream of ideas. Remembering to practice an open and inquisitive awareness has become most important. These ideas are possibilities that can be mixed or matched to your feelings as you become aware of them:

Peace of Mind is unconcealed as we live moment to moment in an awareness of being centered.

The feeling of being centered comes from one’s certainty.

Certainty is a cognizance that natural, cyclic patterns interconnect around and within humans’ physical bodies, our Earth and sun, solar system, galaxy, and Universe.

Stability in one’s peace of mind directly relates to the degree of certainty, at any given moment.

Our peace of mind depends on our physical comfort and food in the pantry. Every certainty in life comes from expending money. Think about it. What do we do, or where do we go that doesn’t require money? For example, it’s probable you don’t walk out the door naked — it took some money, somebody’s money, for clothing. Every activity and aspect of life demands payment. The examples can go on and on. Sooner or later, we experience angst about financial certainty, and if we don’t have it — our peace of mind is gone. (Did you know that more men commit suicide over a job loss than they do over the loss of a loved one?)

So, in the vicious and seemingly endless cycle of self-imposed feast or famine, how does one maintain a sense of peace?

We might say one’s peace of mind is a state of being conscious of the feeling of peace. Experienced in one instant after another, peace becomes an unrecognizable link in the unending chain of being comfortable with the feeling of peace in spite of circumstances or choices we’ve made.

As 2006 matures, we will observe still another cycle of revealed ethics or lack thereof within prophetic, complex metaphors which are literally brilliantly interlocked systems of religion, banking, governments, international corporations, entertainment, and mass media. (We all hope the Internet remains unblocked. The U.S. might be in a civil conflict of ideas, because, embarrassingly, our mass media has blocked our view of many incidents and governances’ demands impacting our global sisters’ and brothers’ already disrupted lives.)

Truly Madly Deeply

As readers of Staying Awake, be assured this creative coach and artist, along with thousands of like-minded creatives, is truly madly deeply piecing together intuited impulses of curiosity — like interests in cosmology, human behavior, and religion.

The more I read the more I realize that history has been slanted this way and that to suit the hierarchical purposes of what I call pathological tendencies of international moneychangers — all of whom are lost, because they are greedy, simply greedy. Is there any wonder Jesus reportedly tossed them out of the Temple?

Many people are observing and sharing their questions, intuitions, and insights about global leaders' politics and religious beliefs — I happen to be one of thousands of authors who write them down. I may not have enough information to connect the dots, but the intention to truly madly deeply intuit has yet to fail when researching various assumptions with which to play. That’s what an artistic intuitive coach does, anyway!

You Cannot See the Truth

You cannot see the truth until you clarify it by writing down your thoughts. That’s another way of saying there’s stuff we don’t know that we don’t know until we do.

Unbelievably, generations of matriarchs and patriarchs haven’t exposed the whole truth. From their heavenly sequestered retreats, the self-sanctioned kingdoms set up darkly sensitive, private relationships and contracts, omitting relevant sweeps of information that in time manifest illusions and symbols they deem necessary to conceal their plans from tax-paying citizenries. The whole lot of them is scrambling to manage the illusory power that is essential for and to the expressed psychological expense of Earthlings.

With predetermined psychological outcomes, their majesties unburden their own putrid indulgent consumptions into media forms, logos, insignias, and other symbols to keep citizenries fearful and shamed. (Indulgent consumption is one etymology for the word consumer.)

The monarchs, barons, and lords who are usually not seen on television, heard on radio, nor written about in print or the ‘net, are bellowing beasts who fund and steer noxious overt and covert messages in advertising. An example: The method of playing two opposing messages against each other in a television commercial can create an instant psychic cruelty, especially when one visual equates physical harm or destruction of property. The brightest adult minds have reason to scratch their heads, and turn away in disgust. It should be apparent, then, what is happening to minds of our kiddos!

Probably, some of us already knew or sensed the dispiriting dichotomy between obtuse advertisements and laws, which promote separation and violence, while teaching our children to love one another. It seems humans’ souls have been split down the middle, head to toe, creating a dual existence too massively schizophrenic to imagine.

We citizens have been, and are gradually but surely performing as religions and their banks, corporations and universities prescribe. Ubiquitous advertisers’ tacit word is ‘gradual.’ We Earthlings, some repressed submissives, sometimes depressed collaboratives, have performed well to oppressive memes in advertising since World War II.

U.S. residents, I can only speak for us, have been allowed theaters of illusions in which to freely perform entrepreneurial, nonprofit, not-for-profit, and faith-based activities, just to list a few. In addition, cloistered ‘theaters’ were created which actually scripted, and continually monitor the illusory business paradigms and religious stratagems of the now groveling hierarchies. The curtain has been raised, the stage lights blazing, and exposing ethics has begun.

Global gamers, gamblers and pimps, have known for generations their judgment day is coming. They know that we know; and they know we are observing them. They love it, too.

Whenever we play the game by voting with our dollars, by purchasing products and services offered by behemoth corporations and shame-driven religions, we are voting ‘yes,’ only to be marketed to again with the same kinds of insidious delusions with often disappointing results.

Why did international moneychangers set up systems to encase all other Earthlings with economic entanglements, subjugating racism, and forms of psychological control? What caused early human beings, with beautifully developing brains and hearts, to choose a dark, unloving path to begin with? Minds are boggled to figure an answer from massive layers of infinite deceits. You might already be bouncing between feelings of quiet outrage and feelings of joy for staying awake to watch the sensational cascade of unscrupulous alliances.

Fabrications are now the game, a competition, between the moneychangers themselves using illusory dominance over Earthlings’ existence and minds. Dominance is acerbated, for instance, when moneychangers’ sock puppets quickly alter laws or economic demands, or restate recent news reports — after having altered them a few months before. The resultant upsets among citizens gives moneychangers purpose for cheering as if spectating games in a sports coliseum.

After millennia of inherited knowledge, expertise, and colossal wealth, evidently, the moneychangers have installed procedures and processes to acquire all the monetary funds and natural resources they need. Presumably, we Earthlings will be holding onto our hats as gusts of human-engineered evolutionary winds disappear paper monies and coins into entirely electronic transactions — a single, paperless electronic treasury. (Printing and distributing paper money were ways moneychangers evolved some of their earlier financial influences into dominances.)

Earthlings have been unpeaceful for millennia via moneychangers’ intimidations and eventual armed conflicts. Once again, preposterous alarms create such pandemonium that unwitted citizens will exchange illusory freedom for illusory faith in anyone or any group who claim to produce certainty.

Citizenries’ collective intuits are elegantly, soul-achingly inching toward the light at the end of the tunnel. Inching toward the light has everything to do with observing unconcealed, splendidly stealthy maneuvers by double-tongued religions and banks, and their fawning corporations and governments, drowning in polluted masculinized politics and convoluted economics.

With helps from advances in electronic communications, biological and neuroscientific observations and applications, as well as tracking Earth’s climate changes, our journeys together are rather like an involuntary travel through a convulsing birth canal.

Let’s remember that energetic patterns of cyclic creation always have been nurturing humankind's existence; that Earthlings are reminiscing a near-forgotten mindfulness of its own psyche; and, that openness to collective intuits and diverse experiences are right in step with the inevitable acceleration into Universal empathy on Earth.

Indeed, tools the moneychangers want us to be distracted from are information, intuition, and feelings, and spontaneous sharing of such with our friends.

Comprehending our insights and perceptions of people we have chosen to surround us, naming our feelings, and responding to our faintest nudges are ways of staying awake. Many times, nudges appear after we’ve made requests. Recalling what we’ve asked for or been curious about would be handy.

Here’s the truth, and it’s really all we Earthlings know for sure: Everything changes. Ideas, traditions, institutions, philosophies, languages, definitions, deceptions, explanations, excuses, illusions, intentions, feelings, curiosities, paradigms, and people can be replaced in hours if not seconds.

The wise would likely keep their senses cleansed and curiosity agile through compassionate talks, empathic thoughts of others, deeply quiet meditations, and, here’s a novel idea — exercise and laughter to release physical tensions! The choices are ours.

You cannot see the truth until one day the playing field of illusions will be laid flat — all bets will be off. In time, we global sisters and brothers will experience watching ourselves observing ourselves rejoicing in natural beauty and vibrant love we were born to feel for having been created out of our very small Earth.

Hang on –
We’re all getting there.
No one will be left behind!
